A story celebrating friendship, it begins with the joyful play of a child and sea creatures, interrupted by the disappearance of the mighty great whale.
The little girl Ana, with her friends Albatross, Manta Ray and Ancient Turtle, embarks on a thrilling adventure into the noise of the sea to find the whale, the children's friend. She must overcome the screeching underwater dredger, the loud illuminated tanker, the lumbering oil rig drill and, most of all, the Raging Giant, who is – in fact – a beautiful sea creature bewitched into noise. But as the turtle says: in the depths of the sea, thoughts run deep; and so this underwater story ends with a reflection on the meaning of the argument, and with an invitation to play where new, great friendships are forged in the sound of the sea.
