At the symposium we presented the literature review on the specificity of processing of music in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), the method of developing teaching methods (action research) and the goals of the method. Besides the elaboration on the method itself we also presented the potential benefits of music involvement for children with ASD and potential explanations of the positive effects that were observed after (consistent) musical involvement.
