From binary tones to sensorial sound therapy

In the Dwelling the Networks of Sound series we're committed to investigating ways in which sounds are therapeutic and beneficial for our brain.

Lately, a lot of research is devoted to exploring how sound, music and rhythm are influencing the brain, with particular attention to the phenomenon of binary tones that, supposedly, have the same effect on the brain as meditation. In a conversation with Karmen Resnik Robida, a health psychologist with a Master of Sciences degree in neurosciences we get to hear about the multimodal sensorial therapy.
