“Our songs, our dreams” is a radiophonic project on collective sound memory. We researched the idea of the sound or a song that someone remembers, that marked her or his life. We planned a serial of short forms and commissioned authors that we previously got to know through Radiophonic Thursdays. We have received 7 short forms from Split, Pula, Rijeka and Zagreb. Each of them with completely different approach of how to represent memory of a sound on the radio. Should we try to reconstruct that sound or not? Is it possible at all? Should we leave it as it is, described with words and emotions that are hidden in the tone of the voice of the person to which we speak to? In fact, we used these productions to open up this kind of discussions?
